Biotechnology of Secondary Metabolites Research Institute of Crops and Horticultural Plants operates in the field of biotechnology of plant secondary metabolites and the development of inputs and modern production methods through the use of the latest biological technologies such as plant cell, tissue and organs culture, molecular breeding of medicinal plants and development of molecular certificates. This research institute is currently active in the subjects of biotechnology and processing engineering as well extraction, purification and identification of secondary metabolites.
