ABRII holds a one-month training course for Venezuelan researchers
Faculty members of ABRII trained eight researchers from the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC) in a training program that was started on April 12, 2024, and lasted on May 17, 2024. For each Venezuelan researcher, a specific training program was prepared based on his/her field of study and interest. During the program, ABRII equipped the researchers with skills and knowledge in modern technologies in Plant Tissue and Cell Culture, Microbial Biotechnology, Plant Molecular Physiology, and System Biology. Moreover, they had the chance to visit other research institutes, and sightseeing places including Sa'dabad Palace Historical Cultural Complex, Iran Mall, Milad Tower, Little Iran Park, and Lale Garden on the weekends. At the end of the program, a closing ceremony was held, and the certificates of completion were awarded to the researchers by the Director General of ABRII, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Mardi.
The results of a survey conducted among Venezuelan researchers showed that they were profoundly and sincerely satisfied with the program. The feedback of the researchers from IVIC is invaluable to us and we are glad they were satisfied with our services. We also had a positive experience with them and look forward to welcoming them back soon!
