Omani Delegation Visited ABRII to Boost Research Collaboration
A delegation from Oman’s Tissue Culture & Biotechnology Research Center visited the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Institute of IRAN (ABRII). The visit, led by Dr. Al-ghaliya AlMamari Director of the Omani center, aimed to strengthen bilateral research cooperation in advanced agricultural technologies.
The Omani team, which included biotechnology researcher Ruqaiya Almas’oudi, toured ABRII’s research departments in plant tissue and cell culture, genetic engineering, microbial biotechnology, and systems biology. The visit was organized following a formal request from Oman’s Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources.
This scientific exchange marks a significant step in expanding research collaboration between the two countries in advanced agricultural technologies.
