Specialized Training Program for Venezuelan Researchers Inaugurated at ABRII
The official opening ceremony of a specialized training program for Venezuelan researchers was held at the Agricultural Biotechnology Institute of Iran (ABRII). The event was attended by Dr. Gholamreza Golmohammadi, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Head of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO), along with high-ranking Venezuelan officials including the country's Deputy Minister of Science, the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Iran, and six selected researchers participating in the agricultural biotechnology training courses.
The visiting delegation toured various research departments of ABRI following the inauguration ceremony and held a constructive meeting with ABRII's directors to discuss strategies for expanding scientific and research cooperation between the two nations.
This one-month training program will be conducted at ABRII's headquarters and its subsidiary research institutes for food and animal biotechnology. This marks the second consecutive year of such cooperation, following last year's successful participation of eight Venezuelan researchers in similar training programs at the institute.
This ongoing educational exchange represents a significant step in scientific diplomacy and technical knowledge transfer in the agricultural sector, further solidifying bilateral relations between Iran and Venezuela.
